My artistic name is Sophie Szabó, a Berlin-based photographer and videographer originally from Barcelona. This is my third year at Bücht der Träumer Festival.
I’ve always been a huge fan of festivals (my university thesis was even about them). I’m passionate about electronic music and workshops, and capturing those moments of connection and transformation is at the heart of my work. I aim to “steal the moment” with my camera, always seeking natural, unposed beauty.
I began festival photography in 2017 at Ozora Festival (Hungary, ~70,000 people), and have since worked with Own Spirit (Spain), Evolve, Gardens of Babylon, Pura Vida (as lead photographer), and most recently with Garbicz.
I work in both photography and video, with a style focused on emotional honesty, vibrant colors, and natural light.
